I Didn't Hear A Dang Thing

Today Kaden and I were driving in the car when he was trying to remind me of a time when we were zooming past all these cars and then cars tried to zoom past us etc... (He always has to be first) I said, "Kaden I don't really remember what you are talking about do you know what day it was or where we were going"
He thought for a while and we tried to figure out what day it was with no luck so he says.....

"Mom maybe I should ask Heavenly Father what day it was and he can tell me"
Me, " You can Kaden"

I hear him saying the cutest little prayer asking Heavenly Father to help him remember what day this whole story happened. He finished sat there for like 2 seconds and then says..

"Mom I didn't hear a Dang thing"

I died laughing but was almost crying at the same time because it was the cutest little thing ever. How many times have I wanted to say that after saying a prayer. I then said well maybe later in the day you will remember what day it was and then you will know that, that was Heavenly Father answering your prayer. "Or maybe he will just tell you" was his reply. I am so grateful to have a little boy who is always thinking about Heavenly Father and Jesus. He is such a great example to me!!

Happy Easter

Our Easter bunny just shoves everything in buckets that seem to only last one summer!!

Kaden woke-up first and came into our room so excited that the easter bunny had come. He was absolutely amazing with Tyler during the Easter egg hunt and made sure Tyler found plenty of eggs too. He really is such a sweet little boy, he just gets so easily distracted that I forget it sometimes.

Despite the snow we had a pretty fun Easter!! Saturday morning we went to the Herriman City easter egg hunt where JD was traumatized by all the butt crack he saw when helping Ty get eggs, I thought he had seen a ghost by the time he got back to me and Kaden I was dying laughing.
You know as a Mom when you have a dream like vision of how your kids are going to behave after the Easter Bunny arrives with some small presents.... and it usually never happens. Well I am here to tell you DREAMS DO COME TRUE!!! The Easter Bunny surprised the boys with some Legos and a table to play on, the day was awesome. I heard the majority of the conference talks on Sunday while playing legos with the boys and preparing desert for my parents house that night. It was truly an enjoyable and fun day just hanging out together and being home.
The night was spent at my parents house were eggs were scattered in every possible place you could think of inside since it was a little too wet and chilly to have it outside. Then while all the cousins ran around together the bigger kids, not me, played a serious game of basketball JD came in dripping. To say the least it was a great Easter Weekend!!

Sunny St. George

Supporting the Tea Party Express, we had heard that Sarah Palin was going to show up but never did. I am not a huge political person but it was good to learn some new things!!

We went on a hike up at Red Cliffs there were rocks, sand, sticks and water the kids were in heaven and no one complained at all or asked to be held it was great!!

The kids had spring break this week and Colby's parents just got a house in St. George so Amanda, My Mom and Me went down for a few days to enjoy some nice warm weather!! It was heavenly, the temp. was close to 80 and there was no wind. We all got a little sunburnt and the kids were outside non-stop. Monday we spent ALL day at the park, Tuesday we went hiking at Red Cliffs then swimming and Wednesday we cleaned and packed while the kids rhode their bikes and scooters outside. It made it even more enjoyable when we would call home and hear about the huge wind storm everyone was going through up here. Thanks Amanda for having such a sweet hook-up it was a lot of fun!!

Big Boobs = Pregnancy

Yesterday afternoon I had one of my good friends, Jena Roblis over for a play date with her two boys. She is a size 0 and has the flattest tummy ever. Something was probably mentioned about babies and
Kaden turned to her and said, "Do you have a baby?"
Jena pulls her shirt tight around her stomach, "Nope see no baby in here."
Me interveining, "Kaden why would you think that Jena has a baby?"
Kaden, "Because your boobs are big Jena"

I was dying inside, he is so sweet and innocent. At the beginning of my pregnancy Kaden asked me, "Mom why are your boobs getting big" I proceeded to explain that when you are pregnant your stomach, boobs and butt get big. I think I should have done a little more explaining.

Motorcycles, Lollipops, Tractors

Yeah it is finally warm enough to start riding motorcycles!! Kaden was a little timid at first but it didn't take him long to start racing around my parents field with Jaxson.
JD had fun racing around the field too with his 1980's porn star hair :) I love his hair long but it can get out of control when not contained by some serious palmade.
Our neighbor brought some lollipops over for the boys and they tried sticking the whole thing in their mouths!! They were in heaven and the wrappers were not even off yet.

Today was great we spent the whole day outside watching a tractor dig a hole for a house next door. FINALLY, we are going to have some neighbors I am so excited. I had a blast watching the tractor I couldn't believe all the cool things it could do. We are in the process of re-doing our backyard by putting in a walk-out basement and a huge RV pad for the FedEx trucks. That is why the boys are sitting on the rocks.

Tyler would get bored and go dig holes of his own. Today made me more excited to have another boy. Really what girls would spend hours outside watching a massive tractor and throwing rocks at bigger rocks to see if they could get them to break?

Tyler is Potty Trained

Ty's impression of Pee Wee Herrman playing football!! This little boy is hilarious, he says and does the funniest things. Tyler is a great little boy but can definitely be a "butt". (JD's Mom always calls him that) The other day at stake conference JD leans over to me and says, "I am done with this little boy he is driving me crazy." He is learning what it is like to live with himself. Love you honey!!

Tyler is potty trained YEAH!! I have been lucky in that both of my boys have made it an easy process. Yes Tyler stands up to go pee so please excuse the pee around the toilet if you come over to my house. With three boys in the house it is impossible to keep those toilets spotless I clean the outside almost everyday :)

Boy #3

I don't know if it is because I keep saying that if we had a girl we would be done or because Heavenly Father knows I really couldn't handle a girl, but here comes boy #3 ready or not!! I am excited but more scared than anything. I love my boys to death but I don't know how I am going to physically keep up with three of them, keep them under control or merely just keep them for seriously injuring themselves. Even JD the other night while wrestling with the boys said to Kaden, "What are we going to do with three boys?" Kaden "We are going to beat you up Dad!!" I think that struck a little fear into JD :) So there you have it the Dunn household is going to be filled with boys, probably all with bright blond hair too!! I was laying on the table at the doctors office getting my ultrasound, find out it is for sure a boy and JD's first comment is, "well boys should we have another clone in the family so Mom is still the odd one out" At least they are cute little clones even if people don't think that I am their mother. No one really looks past the white hair other wise they would see that Kaden does look like me.
I am really excited to see what kind of personality this little one has. Kaden has my personality and Tyler is a complete duplicate of JD (give him what he wants and he is the happiest person around). So I wonder if we will have a mix JD's optimistic and happy attitude and my....... I'll get back to you with that.
P.S. Everything looked great the heart has four chambers and was beating perfectly, which was a huge sigh of relief!!
