Kennedy's Blessing

 Kennedy was blessed on May 6, 2012. One of my favorite things about the day was that Kennedy wore the same blessing dress that I did and my Mother made the dress!! I had looked on line at blessing dresses and they were so expensive and I didn't really love anything and then I remembered that I really liked my blessing dress. So I took a trip to my Moms so Kennedy could be fitted :) My Mom fixed the elastics in the sleeves and hand washed the dress for me. The dress was absolutely perfect. Thank you Mom!! JD did a great job as normal and it turned out to be a great day with lots of family!!

 We LOVE our happy little girl!!

 Another special thing about the day was Kennedy's bow. One day in church we sat behind my friend Kristen Taylor and her family. Her little girl had the cutest bow in her hair. I asked if she had made it and then she offered to make Kennedy's bow for her blessing. I was caught off guard by her generosity and kindness she has 5 kids which include twin boys who are 6 months old. I didn't give her much instruction just that it be white and a little over the top. It couldn't have turned out better. I love, love, love it!! Not only did she make her bow but I also borrowed a ton of ceiling decorations, a platter and drink dispenser. She made a lot of my wishes for the day a reality!! Thank you, thank you Kristen you are one amazing lady.

My sweet Dad came out early before the blessing so my little sister could do my make-up (thank you Brittany)!! Kennedy got a little fussy so I handed her off to my Dad and the next thing I knew she was fast asleep in his arms. My Dad is a great Grandpa. Whenever we are around he always has a herd of grandkids coming with him to feed the chickens, collect the eggs or go feed the ducks in the pond. He is rarely alone on the tractor when we are there either. He is great to play with them and would do anything for them. One day I called him up because it was Dad's & donuts day at school and JD couldn't go so my Dad took Kaden. Another day I called because Kaden got Blaze tickets from school and JD couldn't go so my Dad took Kaden, Tyler and Jaxson to the game. The boys loved it. Thanks Dad for all you do!!

Fun & Sports

 Drew, Christian and Tyler are best friends and play together at least three times a week after preschool. Preschool was cancelled for a couple of days, so Janessa invited the boys to the zoo. Jenn and I decided to tag along!! It was a lot of fun. I am so thankful Tyler has such good friends and that his friends Moms are so much fun!!

 Father and Sons Campout... JD took the boys to the father and sons campout and to say the least the boys LOVED it. The day of Kaden said, "I can't believe it is fathers and sons." You would think it was Christmas. The day they got home we were bombarded with questions about exactly when would father and sons be again.

 Flag Football

 It has been fun to watch Kaden play flag football for the the first time. He loves it and is pretty good. Tonight he caught a long pass for a touch down and "sacked" some guys quite a few times!! He still plays soccer 4 times a week and loves it but it has been a nice to watch him play something new :)

 Tyler rightnow plays soccer and t-ball. It will be interesting to see what sport he likes better. When Kaden played t-ball we knew it was not the sport for him. But since Tyler is a lot more patient and can sit still he might be our baseball star??? Who knows but it is so fun to watch our boys fall in love with sports, progress and get better every year.

Our crazy Lincoln.. this little dude is so flexible it is unbelievable. JD will lay him on the floor and put his legs to his face and it doesn't even phase him. In this pic he was sitting in his chair that hooks to our bar, strapped in. He decided to put his feet on the counter and got chocolate on his heel from a brownie he had just eaten... so naturally he stuck his heel in his mouth and licked it off!! We love our happy as can be or mad at the world little Lincoln!

Volcano

While JD was busy spreading compost in all the flower beds the boys decided to make a volcano that wasn't too deep so people could sit in it!! Pretty gross but I figure boys will be boys and a good shower can scrub it all away!!

She is such a good baby and smiles ALL the time, we love having her around.   She really is three months on Sunday I am just a little behind on blogging :)
