Snow Canyon Half Marathon

I ran the Snow Canyon Half Marathon this past weekend and it was a lot of fun. Not only was the course great but there was such a big group of us running, that we all wore hunters tape somewhere on us and then had three flags tucked into our shorts so that when you passed someone you could steal their flag. A modified version of flag football :) Whenever my sister and husband are involved they take things to a higher level of fun!! ( And yes I think running a race is fun) My goal was to get 1:45 and I ended up getting 1:41 so I was really pleased.
We collectively decided that we were racing for the CURE OF FLATULANCE!! Our group consisted of friends, cousins, in-laws, etc. JD was suppose to be there but work exploded in his face (not surprising Christmas is almost here) and he couldn't come down until Saturday night. I was totally bummed, but glad he was able to spend the rest of the weekend with us.
This was Lincoln's first time in a swimming pool and he loved it!!

My boys are lucky to have such a fun Dad.
Monday we went hiking up at Dixie rock and before I knew it Kaden was gone on top of this rock with Kylie. JD and Aaron saw what they had to climb up to get to the top and they were both freaked out. JD told Aaron to climb up there with Kylie and Kaden since he was holding Lincoln and Aaron response was, "Give me Lincoln and you climb up there"

It was a great weekend in St. George!!

Vampires

Me and the boys went trick or treating in the rain until Ty told me he was frozen and I gladly steered us home

Tyler was great he went around hissing at everyone!!
After Kaden told me he wanted to be a vampire for Halloween I had this crazy idea that I would make the costumes. Everything turned out okay in the end but there were many late nights trying to get things done before the school parties!! I had a bat costume for Lincoln but he was always a sleep or things were just to crazy to put him in it and get and family pic. I am still hoping to get a cute picture together of all three of the boys but we'll see....

The Happiest Place on Earth

So I was feeling like I had lost my six year old and that we needed some serious quality time together..... so what better place to go than Disneyland the happiest place on earth!!
Kaden was sooo excited to meet Mickey Mouse. The third time is a charm, we went to Toon Town two times before and he was not there. Pluto
Goofy
Minnie Mouse
Mater and Lighting McQueen
My Mom and Brittany met up with us Monday afternoon.
Tom Sawyers Island
Jedi training!! We went to the earlier Jedi training show where Kaden didn't get picked and after the show he said to me, "Mom that Darth Vader wasn't real huh, cuz if he was he wouldn't have waited for that girl to get her light saber out huh!!" Hence the focused look on his face. It was so cute right before he went up to fight Darth Vader he breathed in a couple of deep breaths and then was ready to go!!

To top things off I arrived home to a clean house, flowers and a welcome home sign. To say the least my husband is amazing he gladly stayed home with Lincoln (4 months) and Ty!!
