Christmas Eve Jammies- Thanks Mom
We have the boys sleep in our room Christmas night so we can see the look on their face when they see what Santa has left for them. Their face says it all they were sooo excited!!
I tried to surprise the boys with a bee-bee gun since they have been asking for a REAL gun for a while. Well I was able to make a trip to Walmart without them but didn't have a chance to take it out of the car before Kaden saw it in the back :( Not knowing what to do I told them it was for their Dad, they helped me wrap it and put it under the tree. Christmas Eve we hid the gun. The next morning when we where opening our gifts Kaden was so confused about where that present went. So JD sat the boys down and told them what had happened. They were thrilled to learn it was their very own gun!!
Kaden LOVES legos we got him this Lego set that had 240 pages of instructions and was for ages 12-16. ( I wanted to challenge him) I thought sweet he will be working on this all week, I was wrong it took him three days to build this tractor that has a remote and hydralics. Way to go buddy!!
Unfortunately I was throwing up Christmas Day so I wasn't able to play with the kids as much as I wanted, or go to my parents house. I did get to make a trip to labor and delivery because I thought my water had broke and I was having lots of contractions. They pumped me full of fluid, got me rehydrated and the contractions went away. We got home at 2:30 in the morning. It was kind of nice being able to spend Christmas night with my hubby even though we were in the hospital.
Even with being sick it was a great Christmas!!
