CHRISTMAS 2010

Who could ask for more?

The Reeves Clan
JD sporting the goods he got in his stocking at my parents house.
Lincoln got this owl hat from Grandma Dunn. He looked so danged cute we just laughed and laughed!!
Kaden LOVES legos and he spent Christmas morning and all day Sunday putting together some of the ones he got. I think we have found his nitch he is amazing at building things and can stay focused doing it.

It was a great Christmas and I can't believe it has already come and gone!! One of my favorite things about this Christmas was that I was able to really surprise JD. He mentioned to me one day that he wanted tower lights for the boat and I responded, "Sorry it is not in our budget." We had a goal a paying off one of his work trucks with the extra money that comes with this crazy time of year. The Thursday before Christmas we were able to pay off the truck so Friday morning I made a quick stop to the boat store and got JD the lights. I couldn't wait for Christmas morning to see his reaction.... his eyes lit up just like the boys did, when they all saw what Santa had brought them for Christmas!!

Life at the Dunn Household

I found this when I walked through the door tonight at 9:00 pm.
JD got home at a reasonable hour tonight (uncommon for this time of year) around 6:00 we took the boys sledding grabbed some pizza for dinner and I headed out to do some last minute shopping, I was excited I didn't have to take the boys! Honestly I was planning on not "seeing" JD till Christmas morning :) When I walked through the door I couldn't help but laugh. It perfectly depicts our life in December. I have one amazing husband!!

Naughty List

HO HO HO Merry Christmas!! We were lucky enough to have two Santa's come and visit us already this year and they gave me their naughty list....
It says, Kayci, Ty Ty, Brody no toys for Christmas. After I took this the boys added Mom's, Dad's, santa, and the elfs all to their naughty list. Then they made their nice list which consisted of Jaxson, Kaden and Lincoln. When Amanda and Colby came to pick up Jaxson they showed Colby the list. He literally shoved the list into his mouth and started eating it. Because he was on the Naughty list!! It was hillarious but Kaden was MAD!!
The next day when Jaxson was over all the boys were upstairs playing when they came running down so excited. "Mom you have to come take a picture we made the nicest thing for Tyler." They made a garage for his cars out of mega blocks. I love my boys and it is so much fun to see their imaginations at work.

November Update

Kaden: "Guess what Mom, Kate still has a crush on me!!"
Me: " Really what does crush mean?"
Kaden: "It means she wants to marry me!!" "The first time I met Kinley (another neighbor) she told me that Kate has a crush on me and she still does"
Me: "Do you have a crush on Kate?"
Kaden: "No were just friends"

This is Kate with the boys sledding. She is the cutest little neighbor. One night when her family first moved in to the neighborhood we were outside talking to her parents. Kaden and Kate where off riding bikes and then we saw them sitting on a trailer up the street. I asked Kaden what they were doing later that night and he said, " We were just looking at the moon and stars together" I was dying inside.
Another time Kate and Kaden hadn't seen each other for a couple weeks, she had been off track. We ended up seeing them at Tylers soccer game and immediately they ran towards eachother hugged and Kaden lifted her up while they were hugging.
They play so good together and I think it is cute to watch Kaden light up whenever he sees her. Even though he doesn't have a crush on her.
All ready to spend Thanksgiving morning out in the snow with their Dad!! We didn't have to be anywhere till 4 pm so they were out there for hours!! It was a great Thanksgiving, nice, relaxing and still able to see both families.
Tyler played on his first soccer team. "I thought" he would run out there, be aggressive and kick the ball like crazy. I thought wrong!! He was so scared that the first game he would not leave my side, the second game he kicked the ball twice because it came to where he was standing five feet away from me.... Thank goodness for Grandma's my Mom came and picked him up for his last two games and of course he willingly went in and played. He did great and it was so much fun to watch him. He can't wait for outdoor soccer!!
Lincoln is a very happy smiley baby but the majority of the time this is the expression on his face. I think he cheeks are sooo big it makes it hard for him to constantly have a smile on his face. He absolutely loves to stare at people intensely while they are talking.
I would LOVE to know what is going through his head right now!!
