We really couldn't have asked for a better puppy.. she did not shed, bite or bark. She was our little vacuum. The boys & Kennedy absolutely loved her!! The only problem was her size (she never got over 2 lbs. I thought she would be at least 6 lbs. ) and that she loved to cross the highway right by our house to bark at the people over at the beach. We had been seriously contemplating giving her away because of this new "trick" she learned. We had even talked to Susan. Well it happened she got hit by a car. JD was out of town and I was feeding the kids dinner and Kennedy kept opening the front door then Molly would escape so I told Kaden to move her cage into the shade and take her outside. He did so good and did exactly what I had asked but a gap smaller than an inch was left in the cage and she escaped...... I saw the car stopped across the street... grabbed a beach towel scooped her up it looked like she may just have broken her jaw and was in shock. I got all the kids in the car and handed Molly to Kaden then made the 30 minute trek to the animal ER because my vet was not available. Not 2 minutes after we got there she had passed on. The tear floods opened and we were all devastated we had lost our little friend. Kaden had the hardest time she was always with him and on his lap while he was reading, he was in charge of taking care of her. We love you Molly and all though we miss you we are glad you are running around in doggy heaven where no cars, hawks or owls can get you.
