What a crazy, exciting and scary night. It was amazing to watch the fire come up over the mountain and then seriously race down the moutain. I wasn't scared at all at first because the wind was in our favor. Even though the fire was a mile away we could sit on our front porch and not smell a thing. But then we took a drive over to my sisters circle and there was smoke and ash everywhere and my heart got pumping. I went home got a few things packed and watched the fire from the boys bedroom. 
The firefighters were absolutely amazing I can't believe all the houses they saved. 
Giving cookies to them. They were so cute with the kids.
This is where a lot of the firefighters slept.

Seriously that fire is unreal! Holy crap! I hadn't seen the picture of every where it burned. Those firefighters were AMAZING! I am glad you guys didn't have to evac and that your home was okay. No joke, Drew and I were freaking out for you! Of course, you were as calm as could be on the phone :)
