I DID IT!!! I came in at 3:26:57 I wanted to get a 3:30 so I am really excited about my time!! Everything went perfectly. I had two goals before the race, get a 3:30 a run up Vao without stopping. I was able to accomplish both of these. When the race started Brita and I where still in line for the porta potty so a new goal came about and that was to catch the 3:30 pacer I didn't think I was going to do it, but as I turned the last corner and saw the finish line in the distance there was the 3:30 pacer and I came in right behind him.
What a great weekend. On the way down to St. George Thursday we went golfing in Fillmore with Amanda and Colby. Friday we went to Sandhollow out on Dax and Krystals sweet boat and I was able to Surf, Saturday ran the race had a nap ate a huge dinner, went shopping with the girls while the boys went to priesthood. Then Sunday we came home listening to the vocals of JD and Colby the whole way.
I am so grateful to so many different people for making this weekend so great. First of all is my sweet husband who is willing to do anything for me and has been so supportive through everything. Brita made the whole training process a complete blast, I never would have made my goal without all her research and advice!!Thanks for being such a great friend and support. Thanks to my parents and Amanda and Colby for coming on this trip with us and making it so much fun and for the signs support and love. A huge thanks to Dax and Krystal for hooking us up with such a nice place to stay and to Karra and Michael for watching our kids when I know it wasn't easy. Thanks to all the neighbors and friends for the candy poster, treats and words of encouragement it helped a lot. I am truly grateful for all the many wonderful people I have in my life!!

Man, Alisa you are amazing! Thanks again for inviting us to go Karting! Chadwick had a lot of fun getting beat, haha!
You are awesome!!! I am so proud of you. I can't wait to get running again. I saw a few people out today and it pained me a little that I was in too much pain to run. What are you thinking for Boston? I wish I got to run it with you. Next time!
Way to go Alisa! I am so proud of you for getting your goal! You and Britta are a great running match and I am glad you both like to do it together since Amanda and I don't! You are so awesome!
