Tyler is Potty Trained

Ty's impression of Pee Wee Herrman playing football!! This little boy is hilarious, he says and does the funniest things. Tyler is a great little boy but can definitely be a "butt". (JD's Mom always calls him that) The other day at stake conference JD leans over to me and says, "I am done with this little boy he is driving me crazy." He is learning what it is like to live with himself. Love you honey!!

Tyler is potty trained YEAH!! I have been lucky in that both of my boys have made it an easy process. Yes Tyler stands up to go pee so please excuse the pee around the toilet if you come over to my house. With three boys in the house it is impossible to keep those toilets spotless I clean the outside almost everyday :)

Boy #3

I don't know if it is because I keep saying that if we had a girl we would be done or because Heavenly Father knows I really couldn't handle a girl, but here comes boy #3 ready or not!! I am excited but more scared than anything. I love my boys to death but I don't know how I am going to physically keep up with three of them, keep them under control or merely just keep them for seriously injuring themselves. Even JD the other night while wrestling with the boys said to Kaden, "What are we going to do with three boys?" Kaden "We are going to beat you up Dad!!" I think that struck a little fear into JD :) So there you have it the Dunn household is going to be filled with boys, probably all with bright blond hair too!! I was laying on the table at the doctors office getting my ultrasound, find out it is for sure a boy and JD's first comment is, "well boys should we have another clone in the family so Mom is still the odd one out" At least they are cute little clones even if people don't think that I am their mother. No one really looks past the white hair other wise they would see that Kaden does look like me.
I am really excited to see what kind of personality this little one has. Kaden has my personality and Tyler is a complete duplicate of JD (give him what he wants and he is the happiest person around). So I wonder if we will have a mix JD's optimistic and happy attitude and my....... I'll get back to you with that.
P.S. Everything looked great the heart has four chambers and was beating perfectly, which was a huge sigh of relief!!

A Little Piece of Heaven

One of my favorite flowers is orchids and the one in my bedroom just bloomed. I also just got lamps the other day, so it makes it even better when I look over before I go to sleep every night. It reminds me that yes summer will come again!! Maybe I am just weird but it seriously makes me soo happy every time I look at my night stand. So if you are down, run to Ikea or Costco (costco's are bigger) and grab yourself an orchid they are great!!

Grandparents Are the Best

So it was the annual Martin Clan Christmas party at the Cotton Tree Hotel Jan. 8, 2009 and as always it was a total blast. We got there around 4:00 went swimming where Ty learned how to climb out of the pool all by himself and then would jump back in. (He has no fear of water, which makes me a little nervous for Lake Powell) He even would jump onto the kick board like his big brother. This summer is going to be great!! I will be sun bathing by the pool while the boys are swimming and the baby is asleep in its car seat :) I can HOPE right!!

After swimming we ate played the white elephant game and then played more games all night. It was great to see a group of grown-ups running around the banquet room racing. The next morning we woke up and went swimming again. The boys had soo much fun and so did we. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa we love you!!

Bear Lake 2010

Kaden LOVES to eat snow, he would lick it off the sled, his gloves, everywhere. Instead of asking him to not eat snow I've decided that if he doesn't eat the yellow snow he will survive!!
He is still cute with a boogy nose and all!!
We went up Logan Canyon to this big hill that the kids loved. After climbing up a few times Kaden sat down and said, "Mom I am tired"
Right outside the condo there was a little hill to sled down, and we spent hours outside.
Kaden going off the jump with no hands the big kids (including JD & Colby) found ways to make the hill fun for them too.
My independent little Ty, becoming a big kid more and more everyday.


After a great New Years Eve party with friends and some amazing food, (thanks Mom and Dad for taking the kiddos) We headed up to Bear Lake with my family to spend the weekend sledding, playing games, hot tubing and more sledding. Kaden and Ty were so good and it was nice to get away for a few days and take it easy. Again thanks Mom and Dad for inviting us we had a blast!!

Christmas Day 2009

JD and his fam ( Mom, Angie, JD, Sandra, Laurie, Michael, Dad) In the afternoon we went to JD's parents for dinner, his Mom had the house decorated gorgeous as usual. It is always fun to see what new centerpieces she is going to have and how pretty the presents are always wrapped. It was great to hang out there for a few hours.
Grandpa Reeves with his new fire crew!! We spent the rest of the night at my parents unwrapping more gifts and eating more food. My parents gave all their grandsons semi-automatic nerf guns. The boys had so much fun!!
Merry Christmas!! I don't know if I have ever appreciated hanging out with family as much as I did this year. Family was what made Christmas so special for me. After presents at our house we went to my sister for my favorite Christmas meal, breakfast casserole. Came home got ready went to Bountiful and then off to Riverton. Christmas is always a busy crazy day but I love it. Thanks everyone for making Christmas so great for my family and I!!

On Christmas Eve we went to the annual Reeves Family party, which is always fun. During the white elephant game JD's professional bull riding shirt was found. To say the least Colby had been sneaking in his closet. His reaction was hillarious, luckily it is safe and sound in the good care of my mother. After the party all the grandkids get to open up their first present of Christmas, PJ's!! Thanks Mom and Dad.
