Everyday is a New Adventure

This is Kaden's first year of baseball and it is so fun to watch him. He runs the bases as fast as he can. He is in the Rookie league where you get three tries from the machine and then you hit it off the tee. Last night the pitching machine stopped so the coaches where pitching to the boys. Well Kaden hit the ball off the pitch for the first time. He was so excited!! Way to go bud you are doing awesome.
So yesterday morning after the kids where up at 6:30am, and I could tell it was going to be a long day I decided I can either stay home and probably end up yelling at the kids or go somewhere new and exciting. So we headed up town to the Childrens Museum for the morning and it was so much fun. Kaden and Tyler loved playing with all the many different toys there. The best part was everyone was happy, well behaved and we had a great time.
Ty and Kadens two favorite things were the helicopter and the tubes you put the balls in!!

Last Friday we spent the day at Grandma Reeves house while JD was flying to Chicago. The kids rode bikes played on the swing set, played in the sand and then when Brittany got home from school they all went to check on the ducks in the pond. Brittany and her friend Morgan were kind enough to take Jaxson and Kaden canoeing with them. Thanks Britt for all your help and for being such a fun aunt!!

Family Trip to St. George

Family, Bike, Swim, Sun & Sand... What more could you ask for.

Kaden rhode up the big hill behind him 2X without stopping. He absolutely loves riding his bike now. We rhode bikes at least once a day. He would pedal as far and as fast as he could then ride in the trailer with Ty and have a little break.
Suprise, suprise more sticks. The back of our car would have been filled to the top if I would have let him put the sticks in the car. Luckily we were able to find a nice safe home for everyone of them!!
Notice the long sleeve shirts they were evidence of the rain and slush we left behind.

Last Saturday JD and I decided to take a family trip to St. George and it was a blast. Kaden was a little worried at first about not having any of his cousins or friends there to keep him company and kept on asking if Jaxson was going to be there. But after a day of riding bikes, swimming, playing in the sand and going to the park he realized maybe his Mom and Dad aren't that boring after all. The boys were amazing and so well behaved and I soaked up as many sun rays as I could find. It was so much fun just being together as a family, I have to be the luckiest girl in the world!!

Easter Pics

My cute adorable boys, on the way up to JD's sister house we noticed in the car that all the boys were matching. I said, " Darn I should have worn something brown too." JD replied with a loving, "your just the fourth wheel, you don't need to match!!" Someday I hope I we either have a girl or at least a boy with brown hair!!

Kaden absolutely loves sticks rightnow EVERYWHERE we go he finds more sticks that he wants to bring home to add to the collection he has here, I never let him because they are usually too big to fit into the car so he now has a couple of different fire pits in my parents field and he left Laurie and Justin a pile of sticks in their yard. Yesterday we were at Parker and Zac's house and he found a stick in the basement I couldn't believe it.

Tyler loves my parents bird Daisy, well Daisy doesn't like any of the grand kids and bites them if they touch her. On Easter Tyler became the bird whisperer JD put Daisy on his arm and he held perfectly still while she climbed up his arm around his back and rested on his other shoulder. Of course after that all the other kids wanted to hold her too. After many "NO's" from Tyler he finally let Kaden and Jaxson have a turn.

Kaden's favorite nascar car is the M& M car and the Easter bunny stuck it in his basket. He was so excited!!

The Fun Events of March

March has definitely been a month of a lot of highs and a few lows. We have been able to have a lot of fun doing things with just our own little family, with my huge extended family (seeing cousins I haven't seen in years) and getting together with life long friends.

Kaden absolutely loves to go bowling, it is like his attention span triples when we step into the bowling alley. A lot of times he gets a better score than JD & I.
What a priceless expression, Ty loved pushing the ball down the ramp and watch it go down the lane.

While it was nice and sunny we were able to go down to my parents house and ride Jessie. Kaden wanted to make Jessie run and Tyler just loved being on the horse.
Warm weather brings lots of dirt. Tyler ended up in the field next to our house and he was covered from head to toe. His snotty nose didn't help the situation much.
HAPPY EASTER!! From Grandma & Grandpa Reeves, my Dad ordered enough ducks for each grand child to have one. Kaden picked out one of the bigger yellow ones and named it....."Kaden" Luckily the get to live on the pond behind my parents house, and Tyler and Kaden can come and visit them. As if my parents need more things to bribe us to come down there more often j/k
Tyler was pretty soft with the ducks after he gave one a pretty good thump on the head. It was so much fun to watch them hold the ducks and have them crawl all over their legs.

Volcanoe Time!! Kaden saw a picture of a volcanoe the other day so today on the way home from preschool he kept on asking me why where volcanoes hot, and then he wanted to make one so we did. Kaden was so excited he gave me a big hug and said "I love you so much Mom" Kaden was so excited when the volcanoe ruptured!!
This month we were also able to go on our first family golf game. The kids loved riding in the cart. Kaden would tee off then carry his ball to the green where he would hit it in the hole. Tyler would try and kick his ball into the hole from the green. I am sure we will have many more family outings where we go golfing. I better start praticing otherwise my 4 year old is going to pass me up.

Returned Home

My beloved Grandpa returned home to the love of his life Friday night. I will always remember him as a soft spoken man who loved his wife more than anything in the world. They had a marriage that everyone dreams of having. Whenever you saw them together they were sitting by each other holding hands. He had a great smile and funny bumps on his arms that I thought were fascinating as a child. In listening to him tell stories of his college days it sounds like he was a ladies man with a great sense of humor and loved to have fun. I will miss him dearly but know that my Grandma is so happy to have him back with her.

JD's best friends Mom passed away in her sleep Thursday night. She was one of a kind and so much fun to be around. Whenever you were around her there was always laughter and her smile was contagious. She knew how to make you feel welcome and loved. She idolized her son Jeremy and always talked about how he was going to become the prophet. Her smile, laughter and unexpected comments will be missed.

Why moving answers

To answer some of your questions sort of. We have no idea where we are moving to we plan on staying in Herriman, because we love it here. We feel that it is time to move so that is what we are doing. Sorry I know that doesn't explain very much but that pretty much sums it up.
