Room Service Please

The greatest thing ever just happenened. Kaden was sitting on our bed watching Madagascar 2 for the 50th time and JD and I were in the office discussing business options for the 1000th time when JD's phone rang and it was Kaden on the line.... JD "Kaden, Kaden what are you doing?" Kaden "Uh, Uh I was just wondering if you could bring me a drink of milk with a lid on top!" JD and I died laughing, I didn't even know he knew how to call someone on the phone let alone order room service!!

Kaden's First Book

About two weeks ago Kaden's pre-school teacher sent him home with his first book to read!! I was so proud of him for learning all his letters and their sounds that I almost started to cry (I know pathetic)It is so much fun to listen to him in the back of the car on the way home from school trying to read the new book that he got that day!! Way to go bubby Mommy loves you and thinks you are a smart little cookie!!

My Grandma makes the best homemade bread EVER!! So some of us granddaughters made a trip to Grandma's house and had her teach us how. We had a lot of fun and our husbands loved us for bringing home homemade bread, pizza and cinnamon rolls!! Thanks Grandma for sharing some of your wisdom with us and thanks Grandpa for hanging out with the kids!!

Ty sitting by our neighborhood pool, he absolutely loves the water. Even now he will point to his swimsuit wanting to go swimming.

So now that the snow is slowly melting I am getting false hopes that spring is just around the corner. So to make me feel better and to remind myself that my rear end isn't always going to be frozen everytime I go running here are some of my favorite pictures from last summer!!

My Grandparents know how to throw a party

For the second year in a row my grandparents have rented rooms in a hotel for the WHOLE family and it is an absolute blast. We get to the hotel go swimming, eat pizza, play the white elephant game and then things get really fun and hillarious!! On one side of the banquet room rock band was going with JD, Scott, Jasen and Colby taking turns doing duets and solos on the microphone. In the middle there was card games and board games going on. On the other side my Dad, Mike Martin, Mike Harvey, all the sisters and Christy and Mike went to town with the Karaoke machine singing and dancing. Not everyone had the greatest singing voice but it was a lot of fun. I even ended off the night at 2 am by kicking some trash at Ticket to Ride.
The next morning we went swimming again, Tyler absolutely loves the water. Then headed to Cottonwood park for some sledding action. We ended the whole thing with lunch at my grandparents house and my grandma made her homemade bread which is soooo good. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for all the fun memories you have made in my life. Your the Best!!

Right before going to the hotel we made a quick trip to my parents house for some fun behind the 4-wheeler!!

Ty is in there somewhere, he loved being dragged around in his little sled watching everyone fall off the sled behind the 4-wheeler.
